Okay, I think I have come totally up to date with us and our pictures! Yee haw!
Today we went out for donuts, then did a little shopping. Christian was trying to fix a few things on the Jetta, we went to every car part store in town but nobody has the part we need. He'll have to go to the dealership tomorrow since they aren't open on Sundays in PA. He did replace the fuel filter himself though, he was very proud of himself, as was I. Saves us a bunch of money when he can research and do it himself, plus he gets a lot of satisfaction out of teaching himself something new, especially skills he can pass on to Wyatt later in life.
We had another showing Friday, we got feedback from our Realtor this afternoon. Appearently they really liked the house but it is a bit farther from where the husband works then they want to live, but they might be back. That's great! At least we aren't hearing things like they don't want to pay what we have it priced at. We are really hoping to have it sold and closed by Christmas so we aren't stressed during the holiday.
We really have a quiet month compared to last month, Christian spent last night and this morning wandering the house like a lost puppy. After the constant go, go, go pace we have been keeping, it's hard to sit still all of a sudden. We have to enjoy it now though, before we need to start packing. The only major thing we have planned this month is to get together with friends next weekend for pictures. They have a preschooler that they want me to take portraits of in their yard with the beautiful fall foliage. We decided to take advantage and do family shots of both families. What a great feeling though to be wanted for a skill. Other than that I am just going to keep busy with LCMK, I have been asked to head up all community projects for the group. It sounds a bit overwhelming, but I am so excited! Christian is going to be moving head first into a business partnership with one of the more advanced loan officers in his company, he's pretty excited about that.
