Doin' Better

I was in quite a bit of pain still and really, really swollen, more than I had been with either pregnancy. So I had called the Doctor and went in today. They took the wrapping off and casted it, since I will be going back in just over a week, they figured it would be fine, if the swelling went down then they could just recast then. Well, low and behold, 4 hours later there was NO swelling left in my toes or the top of my foot that I can see. It already feels much better and the cast is a bit wiggly. I am still not allowed to put any pressure or weight on it at all, but I'm hoping that this is a good sign that it will mend better now. Maybe even get a walking cast/boot next time. A nice bonus is that I no longer have to keep it iced all day. And Wyatt is really looking forward to getting a chance to be artistic on it tomorrow. Of course Wyatt and Daddy insisted I get the purple one. *giggle*
