GPS? ... Who needs it!

Not me! Uncle Howie was nice enough to let us borrow his GPS for the last few weeks, which was incredibly helpful. But he is currently lounging on some beach in Maui (lucky bum!) and took his GPS with him. We did some errands yesterday, the old fashioned way, with google map print outs. Unfortunately for us, one of the bridges we were supposed to take to get home was closed with not a sign for rerouting in sight. EEK! We turned back, took a look around and I realized I was some where near where I had been to see a doctor 2 weeks ago. I didn't know if I could remember which way I had gone, since I had been really sick and totally reliant on the GPS, no attention was being paid to the landmarks.... but I did it, with out a single mis-turn! Hurrah! My brain isn't complete mush as I so often feel it has become. =D Those little GPS units are helpful and harmful all at once. They really do always put you where you need to go, and get you back again. That is especially helpful for those that don't have the ability to map out in their brain. Me though, I've got the map, a usually pretty reliable one which I inherited from my dad's side. But I had been using the GPS and not really learning the area, just following that often irritating but reliable automated female voice like a good little lemming. I think I will stay away from the GPS for a while, I rather missed my little print outs.

Anyhow... to catch up with other stuff....
~The kids are doing great, imaginations are running wild. Wyatt has been a dog for the last 4 hours.
~I had a nasty bout of strep throat (which I haven't had since I was a kid) but I am better now and have finished my antibiotics.
~Christian has left the car dealership, thought he had slam dunked an interview with a place he was very excited about but he didn't get it. He is interviewing for another place today, which would be an awesome adventure.... we are sure hoping this is it.
~ I have met with 2 newly starting mom's play groups, one in Vancouver and one in Battle Ground, both which look very promising and seem to have some wonderful women.
~ We had a great visit with Nathanael, which included a visit from Mom and Scott and a trip to Yakima to see the cousins, a blast! Wyatt has been begging to go back daily. We are hoping to go back for Easter.

Okay... I think that's everything... oh yeah... some pictures maybe? I'll post some this afternoon.
