Accomplishments

It's amazing how much you can get done before noon if you are up before 7am. This morning I have already made breakfast and lunch, I have unloaded, reloaded and run the dishwasher, I have made, addressed and mailed Wyatt's birthday invitations, which included a trip to the post office... and since I was out I made another stop at the bank. All this and it's just barely noon. Amazing.
A few months into Christian's new schedule (the one that had me getting up with the kids, doing all the mommy stuff all day, putting them to bed and then attempting to stay wake for five minutes with my husband before falling over in exhaustion) I called mercy and so now he gets up at 6am with the kids and I sleep or lay in bed quietly for an extra hour so I can have some sense of sanity and can be awake enough at 10pm to have a lucid conversation with him. It's been an interesting adjustment for me though, I've always been a morning person, I love watching the sun rise... I just prefer to do it after at least a few solid hours of sleep.
So since this change, I tend to feel like I get nothing accomplished in the morning, not today though. Today I have accomplishments a plenty (and shorty I will also have a nap with the kids so I can make it to 10pm)... but even if I get nothing else done today, it's a good day.

Oh and one more thing, I did get Dad's pictures, I'm just a big slacker and haven't sorted thru everything yet... I'll get those CA trip pictures up soon. xoxoxo
