Student of the Week

I've been sick... again. My poor immune system seems to be taking a beating and a half this fall. However, I will get some pictures up, and I will get the ones from Grandma's birthday organized and up (and mailed to those I promised).


In preschool being student of the week doesn't require being the "best" at anything. Each student is assigned a week during the year and they get to do special things, like count and write the date, be the line leader, say grace before snack...
... and best of all... ring the bell after playtime!Wyatt also really appreciated getting a little extra attention from Teacher Susan.


Earlier in November one of mom's groups we attend had reserved some time at a local gymnastics school. They had the kids follow an instructor and then they got to have fun and get some energy out. They loved it! Cordelia bawled when we left and Wyatt has been asking regularly to go back. I sure wish we could send them to a weekly class.



And just before Thanksgiving we were gifted this computer desk and chair from a gal who closed her computer business and had a few too many desks. Now the kids have a real desk for their computer, previously they were on a night stand.
