I know I haven't been posting here as often as I'd like to, we've just been busy enjoying life. Here are a few snippets of the last few weeks.
Cordelia is growing in independence...

Growing in personality...

And acting much older than her 2.5 years.

She has also been keeping us in touch with the doctors in our area, first for a split lip. No stitches but she'll probably have a scar. Then a month later she visited the ER and the urgent care, both in one weekend for a crazy, unexplained fever that spiked 104.6 twice and then 105.2 before disappearing.
Wyatt has also been seeing doctors, and finally we have gotten some answers and a solution, he will be having his tonsils and adenoids out on June 15th.

The kids have been doing what they do best, be kids, as well as enjoy the company of a few friends. Unfortunately, that time usually ends with the playroom looking like this:

Which is horrible! How do these kids have so many toys?! I guess that's just one of the perks of having so many grandparents and great grandparents. I'm thinking it's time to switch to a zero toy policy though, preferring gifts of local memberships and show tickets, experience opportunities and not physical items. Or there's always the good old savings bond. Because it's crazy, it took this poor Mama over 3 hours to turn that mess into the following lovely, clean room, which is 3 times as long as it took 4 kids to trash it.

Thankfully they also love to read, which is usually a less messy activity.

And there's always fun to be had in the sandbox... or the sandbox lid as the case may be.

Christian decided it was time to start introducing the kids to some of the things he loved growing up... like the Smurfs...

And Jiffy Pop!

I've been going, going, going. Here's a bit about what I've been up to...
Coming up with new recipes: teriyaki turkey cheese burgers with baby spinach, sauteed mushrooms and avocado, on an onion roll... SO GOOD.

It's the right time for yard sales, and I'm a super bargain shopper. 1 hour's worth of goodies for under $20.

And after some super shopping, our first ever new couch, for 1/3 the price.

I've been dragging the family every weekend to the local farmers markets. They especially enjoy the music and the local parks.

And I usually get to hang out on the grass while they run around... I entertain myself with some drop spindling.

A yarn I recently made.

And I've gotten a bit crafty, instead of buying a spindle for over $30, I made a bunch myself for less than half that. Here are a few, not quite finished.

I've also been busy at the sewing machine, making aprons for gifts.

That is just a tidbit of all that's been going on, I'll try to get back to my weekly updating before Spring runs away on me altogether and Summer is upon me.
