Memorial Weekend

I know!! Over a month of catch up. You will all have to forgive me, between moving and hospital visits, blogging fell pretty low on the list. I will now be bombarding you in order to catch up.

For Memorial weekend, we made another drive out to visit my mom and stepdad. It was a great time.
Cordelia painted with Oma.
There was lots of fishing...
She thought the fish was really funny.
There was a bird nest...
... with eggs...
And a very protective mama robin.
The monkeys ran through the sprinklers.
And got purple lips from yummy popsicles.
And then we visited the local fairgrounds because they were having a festival.
With rides. These were Wyatt's first by himself!
And we had fun watching him.
One very happy kiddo.
Then both kids were going to ride together. They waited patiently in line, tickets in hand.
Honk, Honk!
Happy parents.
PopPop flexed his muscles...
... and won Wyatt a giant hammer!
Then a trip through the fun house was in order...
With lots of walking into glass walls...
saying Hi from above...
Ack! Everyone failed to mention that the only way down was a spiral slide. The things a mama will do for her kids.
More rides!
And then we were off to watch the evening parade!
The weekend continued the next day... with more fishing...
and then an afternoon on a ski boat.
Christian even got into that cold water and did a bit of skiing.
Ahhh. A very fun weekend indeed.

And on the way home, our poor overworked van rolled 200 thousand. She's serving us well, hopefully she'll hold up for another 100 thousand.
