And after the crowd left, Grandpa Dan played a little Wii Guitar Hero.
While the party goers were asked to bring donations for the local human society,
there were still a handful of the usual fun birthday gifts to open.

Since the party was before his birthday, as was his tonsil surgery, which was quickly followed by his leg surgery, we had a little birthday lunch out about a week later at a very fun "soda pop shoppe".
And a week or so after that we used some of the gift cards to the local pet store Wyatt got to finish getting things to donate.
And we headed to the Human Society to donate and visit with all the animals.
It was very hard to get the kids to leave without another furry friend.
All in all, a very fun birthday celebration! And now we're getting ready to start kindergarten. Yay!
