Last month when Christian was moving the martial arts school to it's new building, he had to clean out some of the brush from around it, and it doing that he found this little guy.
Christian had to bring it home because he had destroyed it's home, and we have way too many cats in our neighborhood to release it here... so the kids got a new pet.
While our little guy has gone through many names in the short time he's been here, he's mostly just known as "Lizard".
After much research, we are fairly certain it's a dry skinned newt. Christian made him up a little home (with a dog bowl for swimming in) and has been trying to figure out what he'll eat.
Our family now consists of 4 people, one cat, one newt and a handful of fish. :)
