ZooTastic!

We joined some friends for a trip to the zoo. We wanted to check out the fantastic new exhibits they opened, and a few that we hadn't seen in our previous trips. We always start at the beginning though...
By saying hi to the mountain goat at the entrance.
Then we made our way down the trails and paths, stopping along the way to discover new things.

We've been to see the elephants every time we go, they are a favorite, especially since the baby was born last year. Look how big he's gotten!
This was the first time we visited the elephant museum though, it's quite interesting.
"Wow! My ribs aren't that big."

Then the coolest part of all, the new wild cats exhibits. This was great fun.
"Doesn't look so scary to me."
Trying to see if they could be as fast as the fastest.
An amazing treat, we got to see the giraffe up close. It's the first time we've been able to really see this guy.
We didn't even know the zoo had bats, but we saw them this time.
One of the last few stops was to see the penguins...
And then the sea lions.
Even Miss Sassypants agrees...
It was a great time!
