Wyatt's school is Kindergarten through 3rd grade, so they did a joint program with the whole school. The kids sat together on the gym floor with their grade, 1st at the far left, Kindergarten next (the smallest group), then 2nd grade, with 3rd graders at the far right. The parents were brought in and we all sat on the bleachers and second story risers. This being my first year with a school aged kiddo, didn't know you had to be there over half an hour before it starts to get a decent seat, so we were at the TOP of the second story risers. The pictures are a bit far away, but if you click on them you can see them a bit closer. Wyatt is in the front row, the second from the right, green shirt and gray pants.

After everyone was settled, the Principle introduced himself and welcomed everyone.

The older grades sang a few songs and then Santa came in with two of his elves to dance and greet while the kids continued to sing.

You know how there's always one kid who is bored or just being silly? This year it was my kid. He bounced around, put his legs out in front of him, poked the kid next to him, and was just a pill through the whole thing. Here he is, butt in the air, laying his face on the floor. *sigh*

After this, the teacher made him sit by her for a while. I don't know what was wrong with him, when he was at home singing the songs he was excited. He eventually settled down enough to go back to his "seat" and then did sing one of the last songs, Jingle Bells.

WOW! I guess I am amazed at all the room there. The kids school has no where for the parents but chairs and standing room only in the cafeteria/gym. Looks like it was a fabulous holiday concert.
