A few days before Christmas we took a trip out to visit a friend at the beach. And no trip to the beach would be complete without a drive on the waters edge. Hubby was so excited and had a great time.
Proof.

He took a few seconds too long to get his picture and get back in, this was a bigger wave hitting the tires.

And here comes another!

Wyatt getting his window up as fast as he could as it splashed inside.

A very happy guy.

And as is typical of most three year old kiddos, Cordelia crashed on the way home from the fun.

On Christmas Eve morning we worked on our Christmas/Santa cookies.

Click the picture to make it bigger, she's actually gotten the powered sugar on her eyelashes.

Good times.

Baked and done, and oh so yummy.

Later that evening, the kids got to open their one Christmas eve gift, PJ's!

And then we took our traditional picture in front of the tree in our jammies.

And made up our Santa plate.

This year Oma, PopPop and Uncle Bubba came so they got to help to get the kiddos into bed before Santa came.

After the little ones were snuggled in tight and dreaming happy dreams, Santa did his magic and the transformation was spectacular.

Right down to the nibbled cookies and carrots.
