Sea the Fun

We took another short road trip to the beach. We love that we're 2 hours from coastal fun. It must be something in the blood, I'm just happier if we get a monthly beach fix.
The kids are so sweet, most of the time they hold hands on long trips.
We lucked out with our first truly nice beach day. Sun shining and huge waves crashing.
We walked the promenade and enjoyed the day.
And the kids just had to get one marry go round ride in.
And of course, we had to a hat store.
We decided it had been too long since we moved here and we'd taken so many trips to the coast without, so we went in search of a few lighthouses.
This light house is in the distance at the right, the storms blocked the trail so we couldn't go up to it. Instead we walked around the bluffs and cliffs a bit. The waves were crashing against the rocks so hard that they were doubling back and crashing in both directions.
Then we drove around to the opposite side of the point to another lighthouse and hiked out to it. The views were spectacular.
These are my favorite kind of days.
