Graduating

Wyatt finished his preschool year at the beginning of June. It was bittersweet. He's grown so much, and we just adored his teacher. He's one of those great personalities though, that is capable of loving many, and he will love his next teacher, while remembering the last.

Here he was in September, the first day of class.
And here he is the last day of class. (so bummed it's blurry.)
And saying goodbye (but not really) to his best friend. They will be attending different elementary schools.
The actual last day of school was a picnic on one of the student's family greenhouse property (gotta love living rural). The kids got to tour the greenhouses and check out the family's chicken coop.
Teacher Susan gave each of the kids a special "memory" book to draw pictures in over the summer.
It was hard to say goodbye.

At his preschool, there was no official graduation, just kind words from the teacher and best wishes for the next year. I actually much prefer this method. I don't understand the need for a big hoopla graduation after every grade.
It was a crazy, trying, wonderful, exciting, fun year. And now he is enrolled in Kindergarten. He's a kindergartner. Definitely bittersweet.
