Outside

It's been a really rainy month. Well, last few months really. Record number of rain days and we just do the best we can. We gave up on regular sunny days, so we headed outside any time it wasn't pouring buckets.
There has been lots of puddle jumping...

In the rare hours we could steal between storms, Wyatt worked hard learning to ride his bike without training wheels.
There were lots of scrapes, bumps and bruises to show for his hard work...
But we tried to keep it fun...
And eventually he got the hang of it!
I'm so proud of him!!

Because of the rain, we held off as long as possible with plating the veggies this year. We finally gave in and planted. Thankfully they are holding up pretty well.
The strawberry plants from last year are doing great, lots of blooms...
And even some fruit showing up. Need that sun to come out to make them red though.
My roses haven't faired quite as well. This is one of the few that bloomed nicely. One of my favorite in my yard. Sadly, the rain has caused most of my roses to mold and I've had to cut them completely back. Hopefully the sun will make itself a more regular visitor soon.
